Everyone’s favorite Burger Recipe is here.

The recipe took 50 minutes right from Toasting Burger Buns to Making Kidney Beans Patty for the Burger. I used homemade Dip too, which tasted the same as most of the famous Burger Stores.

All I am trying to mention here that these things are way too easy to be made at home. And with a little effort, you are making something delicious, hygienic, and good quality food.

I keep experimenting on food and trying new recipes too.

Once, I and my brother were craving for a burger and the reason behind my creating this juicy Burger was only this. Yes, you heard it right!! The Burger is juicy with fresh toppings and toasted Buns accompanied by Spicy Potato wedges and Cold Coffee. It made our day. Ha-ha-ha-ha.

I will be sharing here, the recipe of each and everything, the burger sauce, the patty, the toasting bun. Ohh, how did I forgot to mention, the Buns were made at home too. You can check that Recipe too.

This Kidney bean Burger is really easy to make. All you need prior preparation and planning. Make Buns and Patty one day before. And bake or fry the patty the very next day before serving.

Making everything in one day can exhaust you and you could not be able to enjoy your food! I did this mistake. Out of my excitement, I decided to make everything in a single day. I woke up early and put myself in the process.

And in the end, I was too tired to eat.

There are four components involved in making BURGER

  • Making a Perfect Patty of the same size as of Bun
  • Baking/ Grilling the Patty
  • Making a Tangy Burger Sauce
  • Assembling the Burger

About Patty

The Patty requires eggs to make it juicy. For vegetarians, you can replace eggs with Potatoes. And then Patty was coated with Bread Crumbs. Cornflakes crumbs can also be used for the purpose. But, I found Bread as the best.

Step by Step Recipe

Making Patty

Soak Kidney Beans 5-6 hrs before making Patty. And then, Pressure cooks them until 4 whistles or beans are softened.

Let it cool and Transfer to a Grinder Jar. Add Green chilies, Dry Mango Powder, Cumin Powder. Grind them to a coarse paste. Don’t add water. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.

Add finely chopped Onion, Garlic, Ginger, roughly chopped Coriander leaves. Mix well and add an egg and a cup of Breadcrumbs to it. Add More crumbs, if required.

Divide the mixture into 6 large balls. Make Patty of them. Roll the Patties over Breadcrumb.

Baking Patty

Place the Patties over a baking tray and bake it in a 120 degree Celsius preheated oven for 10 minutes on each side. Take the Patties out and let it cool for some 5 minutes.

Making Burger Sauce

In a bowl, add a cup of Mayonnaise Sauce, a tablespoon of Tabasco Sauce, a teaspoon of Vinegar, a teaspoon of Sugar, and a pinch of salt. Whisk well.

Assembling the Burger

Cut the Onions, Tomatoes, and Cucumber in thin strips of the circle shape.

Cut the Bun into halves, and pan-fry them. Spread the prepared Burger sauce over it.

Place lettuce leaves first over one of the halve, then place onion, cucumber, tomato strips. Place the patty and cover it with other halve of the Bun. In my place, lettuce was not available, so I couldn’t add it to my topping, but I highly recommend you use it. It gives color and taste to your Burger.

You can arrange it in any way of your choice. Serve with Potato fry and Cold coffee, Cold Drinks.

Tips: Toast your Buns in a large Pan. It will save you time.

Equipment

Ingredients

For Breadcrumbs

  • 8-9 Slices of Bread

For Patty

  • 2 cups Kidney Beans
  • 4 cups Water; to soak
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Onions, Medium Sized; finely chopped
  • 7-8 Garlic Cloves; finely chopped
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 Green chilies; chopped
  • 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilly powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil to grill

Assembling Burger

  • 1 Cucumber, thinely sliced
  • 1 Onion, thinely sliced
  • 1 Tomato, thinely sliced

Making Burger Sauce

  • 1 cup Mayonese
  • 1 tbsp Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt a pinch

Instructions

  • Grind 8-9 slices of breads in a Dry Jar. Grind to Grainy Powder.

Assembling the Burger

  • Cut the Bun into halves, and pan-fry them. Spread the prepared Burger sauce over it.

Notes

  • You can arrange the topping in any way of your choice. And, the choice of spices is flexible.
  • You can replace Eggs with Potatoes, in the Patty Mixture.
  • Be careful with the patty mixture, Drain the water from beans or spread the beans over the kitchen towel before grinding, so that all the moisture retain away.
  • You can either bake or grill the Patty. To grill, Drizzle a little oil over griller and place the Patty over it. Grill for 10 minutes on each side.
