About this Cake
Though, Being a Chocolate Addict Person, I always wanted to bake moist, soft, Chocolate cake.
But, a few years back when I first time made this, it came out as a complete disaster. I couldn’t understand the reason. It was bitter, dry, and hard.
Then, after several hit and trial attempts, I learned that the timing set by me in the Microwave is more than it requires to cook.
And the bitterness in my cake was due to the addition of more chocolate Powder.
So, the time in Microwave and the correct quantity of Ingredients is the key here.
Use a Microwave-Safe Mug or Cup.
With time, I started to make it without Eggs. And, my Eggless version of this Cake came out super soft and not so spongy, the way I wanted it to be.
This Cake never disappoints my Chocolate Cravings. And, this is not going to disappoint you either.
I am super excited to share my recipe with you all!!
Healthy Versions of this Cake
If you are someone, who has cut out sugar from your life and looking on All-Purpose flour as a true devil for your Calories!! Considering your health and Calorie Chart, you can swap these few ingredients with these below:
Oil: Oil can easily be swapped with Olive Oil or Coconut Oil. The Calories count in these Oil is very less, and Healthy for Muscles too.
Sugar: You can either cut the amount of sugar or you can use Honey as a sweetener for this Gorgeous Dessert.
Flour: It is universally admitted to using Whole Wheat Flour in place of All-Purpose Flour if you are counting on your Calorie intake. But do use Finely Powdered flour of Whole Wheat Flour,
Otherwise, you will end up making a Dense Cake. And the Cake might be dry too.
How to Make it Vegan
If you are looking for Vegan Options, you can substitute the Dairy Milk with Almond Milk or Soya Milk or Coconut Milk. Using Almond Milk in this Cake will lift its taste incredibly.
Use dairy-free Oils such as Olive Oil.
Also, use dairy-free Chocolates (if using).
As I am making this Cake in a large batch. So, I made the batter in a large bowl. And then poured the Batter, into my Microwave-Safe Cups. You can directly make the Batter in Cup too. The Ingredients mentioned below will lead you to make 3 cups of Mug Cake.
Step by Step Recipe
So, first Pour 3 tablespoon of Oil in a Bowl. Add 3 tbsp sugar, a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract, 6 tbsp Milk. Mix it together with a Balloon Whisk.
Sieve Dry Ingredients .i.e. 1/2 cups of All-Purpose Flour, 2 tbsp unsweetened Cocoa Powder, a tsp of Baking Powder, and a pinch of salt. Sieve all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
